long term married; one son; two dogs - a border collie cross and a nutty cocker spaniel. Love books - home is disappearing under as I find them hard to dispose of - I love to own books and to read - esp murder, thriller, some scifi, some fantasy etc. Not generally romance or military - but as film lover admit to loving Rebecca (with Olivier) and Genevieve which are sort of romance. Wide sense of humour - often can be quite dark, or off the wall - but very broad church. Not very practical, but enjoy cooking. Love music - most
types generally but esp. old fashioned rock'n'roll, 50s/60s, country, Blues, musicalls, music hall and jazz - but also enjoy a lot of classical and other types.Love getting around UK to visit new areas; love seaside and country villages. Enjoy history - which abounds in this country for getting around and studying/relaxing and like looking around elsehere when get chance.Enjoy theatre - when I can, and cinema. And life's oddities and this world's beauties - scene
